A Life Changing Experience!

This is an opportunity for a transformative experience. Reconnect with your health and wellness goals while savoring delicious, abundant and artfully prepared whole food plant-based meals specially curated for you by Culinary Instructor Karen Gros.

Informative presentations will be led by Dr. Cynthia Morgan, Founder and Executive Medical Director of the Ozark Center for Lifestyle Medicine. Discover the emerging medical field of Lifestyle Medicine and its six pillars that serve as therapeutic lifestyle interventions to treat chronic conditions including cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, obesity, and more. Learn of the power inherent in every bite, every step, every extra minute of sleep, every moment spent in nature, and every supportive encounter with a loved one.

Not only will you experience the impact of a healthy lifestyle during this immersive retreat, but you will be provided with practical physical goals to take home as well. You will have the opportunity to undergo anthropometric screening with Dr. Morgan measuring your height, weight, along with a few other key body circumferences, to then calculate your body composition. You will then be provided with unique weight loss (or gain) landmarks to help you reach the ideal body weight that will help you prevent and even reverse disease.

Location

This retreat will take place on a scenic country road just outside of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, less than 5 minutes from the Thorncrown Chapel, the most celebrated piece of architecture built in Arkansas, designed by architect E. Fay Jones. The Ozark Mountain Region stands as the largest preserved wilderness in the Eastern United States, offering a sanctuary for wildlife amidst picturesque hiking trails and breathtaking waterfalls.

Tucked within the Ozark Mountains, the enchanting Victorian town of Eureka Springs provides an ideal setting for relaxation. Recognized on the National Register of Historic Places since 1970, the town’s historic district boasts a rich history marked by vibrant prosperity, intriguing stories, and the allure of stone structures and Victorian residences. Eureka Springs is renowned for its magical healing waters and sacred Native American springs. Given how special this small town is, we include for you a privately guided historical walking tour of the healing springs and downtown Eureka Springs.

  • “There is a set of stairs I have to climb at my doctor's office. I used to have to go one step at a time and rest between steps. Just 10 days after starting this diet, I walked up the stairs like a normal person with one foot in front of the other. This may seem small to others, but it is the best thing that has happened to me. I can't believe my good luck!"

    — Mary P., Little Rock, AR

  • “I really appreciated a sharing of nutrition education WITHOUT hidden agendas, propaganda, or marketing schemes. So refreshing."

    — Patti F., Little Rock, AR

  • “I lost 17 lbs. in two months and finally kicked my heroin-like sugar addition.”
